Established in 1999 - a new company with years of experience. Robert A. Johnson and Scott J. Meyer combined over 35 years of experience, common goals, work ethics, and philosophies to form JOHNSON & MEYER, CPAs, LLP. Mr. Johnson and Mr. Meyer worked together for many years prior to the formation of JOHNSON & MEYER, CPAs, LLP.

Scott J. Meyer, C.P.A. - Partner and Co-founder of JOHNSON & MEYER, CPAs, LLP

Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from St. Joseph's College. He is an active member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants - Suffolk Chapter, where he currently holds a seat on the executive board of directors, a member of the Small Business Committee and Young CPAs Committee (Past Chairperson), and past member of the Nominating Committee. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

He has organized several fund raising events for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Suffolk County, local community and family purposes and other charitable organizations.

Scott specializes in providing income tax, estate tax, and financial planning to the firms' clients. He develops customized and personalized asset preservation and wealth accumulation programs. He is a management consultant and accountant to small businesses in diverse industries.

Scott and his wife Kim have five children.

Robert A. Johnson, C.P.A. - Partner and Co-founder of JOHNSON & MEYER, CPAs, LLP

A native Long Islander, Robert earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from St. Bonaventure University in 1980. Robert earned his Certified Public Accountant designation in 1982 and has compiled over 20 years of experience.

Robert has extensive knowledge of individual and corporate taxation and specializes in Estate and Trust taxation. He also specializes in Accounting and Auditing of State and Local Governments. He received a Certificate of Achievement from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Governmental Accounting and Auditing.

Robert is a member in excellent standing of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has served on the Board of Directors of several charitable and civic organizations.

Robert and his wife Anne have five children.
